Sidama produces some of the most consistent and approachable Ethiopian coffees on the market. Heavier-bodied than Yirgacheffe, with the sweetness that wins blind cuppings.

A short history

Sidama (or Sidamo) was historically the umbrella term for much of southern Ethiopian coffee, including what is now separated as Yirgacheffe. The Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union remains one of the largest cooperative networks in the country.

What buyers say about Sidama
"Sidama naturals are our workhorse — they hold up in espresso, in filter, in cold brew. Reliable in a category that isn't always reliable."
